The Lichauco Family Pages

OK this version is the first version really that can display Sylvia Lichauco, Sunshine, Allegra and Jade properly. It took a bit of hackish code, but I think it’s versatile enough to be able to handle most any familial situation we could get ourselves into. Special thanks to those who helped me. You know who you are so I won’t mention names lest I forget a single one.

We’re not done yet. The old text file which some of you have is now deprecated – meaning it’s toast. This version of the family tree data is already being indexed by google and ingesting the text file switches all the IDs around making it impossible for google to find a given person.

That said, we’ve just began to scratch the surface of what we can do. I estimate that we have over 200 people on facebook from our clan alone. You might not want all of them to be your facebook friends, but if you need one, you should be able to find one. Part of the vision is to create a Lichauco Marketplace where we can trade items, skills, services and jokes. Not in that order.

I also can’t maintain this alone. I welcome people who are able to write and exchange news about what’s happening in the lichauco world. I welcome all ages. All discussions be they about bargains, or fashion, or travel, or food, or technology, or business, or politics or religion. Just lemme know I can create the appropriate account for you that will allow you to post articles.

So.. the first order of business is linking those Lichaucos who are currently “unlinked” to us. Here’s the list that I have and I’m certain there are many more. As we bring our kin into the fold, we are also extending Lola Grande’s reach. Let us do that with Love, Patience and an understanding that all of really share Lola Grande’s gene. Are we not then helping part of ourselves by embracing our kin?
